Terms of Service & Financial Disclaimer
Last updated:
Please read these terms carefully. They explain the rules for using PayoutCalc and, importantly, the limits of what our calculators can tell you.
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://payoutcalc.netlify.app and all calculators, content and features provided on it (together, the "Service"), operated by PayoutCalc ("PayoutCalc", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the service
PayoutCalc provides free, browser-based calculators that estimate marketplace commissions, payment processing fees, flat fees, tax, net profit, margin, return on investment, markup and break-even prices for online sellers, digital creators and freelancers. Calculations run entirely on your device. Default fee rates ("presets") are based on publicly available information from each platform at the time of our last review, and every rate can be edited by you. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
3. Financial disclaimer
Important: results are estimates, not advice
- All results produced by PayoutCalc are estimates provided for informational and educational purposes only.
- Nothing on this Site constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and no professional or fiduciary relationship is created by your use of it.
- Platform fees and tax rules change frequently and vary by product category, country or region, seller account type, plan, promotion and payment method. Our presets may not reflect your situation or the latest rates.
- Always verify current fees directly with each platform (for example in your seller center or the provider's official pricing page) and consult a qualified professional before making pricing, business, tax or investment decisions.
- You are solely responsible for any decision you make based on information from the Service.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PayoutCalc disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that any fee rate, formula or result is correct or current.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will PayoutCalc, its founder, team members or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any reliance on calculator results, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), statute or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us to use it, which is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Site, its hosting infrastructure or related systems;
- Use automated tools to scrape, copy or mirror substantial parts of the Site, except for standard search-engine indexing;
- Generate fraudulent ad impressions or clicks, or encourage others to do so;
- Submit spam, malicious code or unlawful, abusive or misleading content through the contact form;
- Misrepresent PayoutCalc's results as official figures from any platform.
7. Intellectual property
The Site's design, text, graphics, logo, source code and the arrangement of its calculators are owned by PayoutCalc and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the calculators for your own personal or business planning and may share links to any page. You may not reproduce, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the Site, or create a competing service from it, without our prior written permission. General mathematical formulas are not claimed as our property.
8. Third-party trademarks
Daraz, TikTok, TikTok Shop, Stripe, PayPal, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify and Gumroad, and any other platform or product names mentioned on the Site, are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to identify the platforms our calculators relate to. PayoutCalc is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of these companies.
9. Third-party links & advertising
The Service may contain links to third-party websites and may display advertisements served by third parties, including Google AdSense. We do not control, endorse or assume responsibility for the content, products, services or privacy practices of any third-party site or advertiser. Any dealings you have with advertisers or third parties are solely between you and them. How advertising partners use cookies is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms, so please review this page periodically.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
